I’m sorry to have to inform you all that the forums have been taken down – probably permanently, or at the very least indefinitely. My reasoning is relatively simple – so I’ll explain it quickly.

The last time the forums went down (and here is where it gets a little technical) – I was informed that my domain’s application spool had been corrupted. Or something to that effect. The problem was that atttempts to fix it ended up knocking over the blog as well – the end result being the loss of a little more than a week’s worth of work, on both the blog and the forum.

Rather than risk the same outcome, as the forum installation had proved to be inherently unstable – I’ve decided to remove the forum entirely, until such time as I can get around to installing a more stable forum, or find a hosting server which is less prone to having nervous breakdowns.

So to those of you who participated in the forum’s brief run, I would like to say thank you very much. The blog, however, will still be going strong – so keep your eyes here – I’ll have my next review up in the next two days.
