Azuma Tokaku, an assassin, transfers into the prestigious Myoujou Academy - but she's not there to enjoy the high-school life. Instead, she, and eleven other girls in her class, are given the task to eliminate their fellow classmate, Ichinose Haru. Succeed, and the killer is granted their deepest desire - but they are only allowed a single attempt. Failure results in expulsion. Azuma, however, finds herself drawn to her target for some reason, and ends up vowing to protect her from the other assassins in the class.
