Shuffle! is a series created by Navel, originally as a visual novel. The original visual novel has three spin-off sequels: Tick! Tack!, Really? Really! and Shuffle! Love Rainbow, which added some new characters to the series.

The series has also transitioned to other media, such as manga, light-novels and anime.

The anime’s plotline is as follows: in a world where humans, gods and demons co-exist peacefully, the main character is Tsuchimi Rin, who lives with his childhood friend, Fuyou Kaede, after his parents – and her mother – passed away in an accident. As far as many of their friends are concerned, Rin and Kaede are the ideal couple, until the sudden arrival of two transfer students – Nerine, from the world of the Demons, and Lisianthus, from the world of the Gods. Rin is rather startled to find out that he is a marriage candidate for both of these girls.
