He is known as the God of Conquest - a legendary being who can capture any girl he sets his sights on. In real life, however, Katsuragi Keima is a gamer obsessed with dating sims, and has no interest in 3D girls. But when the denizens of Hell need someone to help them capture runaway spirits who are hiding in the hearts of girls, they send Elsie to make a contract with him - obviously only aware of his online legend. Now, because of the contract, Keima is forced to make real girls fall for him; the only knowledge of romance at his disposal being what he has gleaned from his dating sims. With his head literally on the line, Keima tackles the job, with his only wish being to get it done so he can go back to ignoring the real world.

The World God Only Knows (Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai) consists of the source manga (26 volumes), a light-novel and various anime adaptations which started airing in 2010.
