Yuri!!! on ICE Character Birthdays

Yuri!!! on ICE follows Katsuki Yuuri, a figure skater who returns to his hometown for some soul-searching after a crushing defeat at the Grand Prix Finale. He finds himself in the spotlight again, however, when a video of him performing a routine previously performed by five-times-world-champ Victor Nikiforov goes viral, and Victor himself turns up at Yuuri's house, offering to mentor him. Yuuri accepts, and returns to the world stage. However, he has a rival who is determined to defeat him and win back Victor's mentorship.

Yuri!!! on ICE aired in the Fall 2016 season and consisted of 12 episodes. It also courted some controversy by winning multiple categories in Crunchyroll's inaugural Anime Awards.
