Synopsis: They were normal members of a literary club who were suddenly gifted with supernatural powers. Despite having fantastic dreams of heroics, the reality is that their everyday lives have remained utterly mundane and normal. So why on earth did they receive their powers in the first place.

This is very a very different outing for Trigger compared to shows like Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia (although it seems the odd reference or two might pop in – you’ll see what I mean).

The studio managed to make a fan of me though, so I’m somewhat interested to see what they plan to do with this particular series, although I’m not expecting something quite on the scale of Kill la Kill – if anyone is there’s a fair chance of disappointment looming. So, I can see myself watching this, but not with high expectations. Then again, I may be proved wrong – we’ll see.
