Synopsis: Second season of Selector Infected WIXOSS. In the first season, Kominato Ruko was drawn into the darker side of WIXOSS, where girls battle each other for the sake of their wishes. But as Ruko discovered, whether you win or lose, the game carries a terrible cost.

SPOILERS AHEAD: I enjoyed the first season of WIXOSS (pronounced “Wi-Cross”) – while it is based on a card game, a genre I tend not to pay a huge amount of attention to, the darker atmosphere of the series left an impression on me – you could almost consider this the Madoka Magica of card-battle anime.

At the end of the first season, Ruko approached the dark secret behind the WIXOSS system, but even as she found something worth wishing for, she gets a new LRIG, and loses Tama. And now she’s searching for both the answers, and trying to get Tama back. I’m actually looking forward to the conclusion of this particular series.
