It’s almost time for KIN-CON 2014. This second iteration will be bigger, better and busier, and I poked around a bit to find out what would be happening. My body … it’s ready. My wallet … not so much.
UCON 2014 took place about 2 weeks ago, organised by UCT’s Genshiken Society. Inside is my report on the event, including photos, and links to more photos and other reports about the event.

KINCON opened its doors for the first time this year, with an open invitation for all geeks and otaku to join in the fun. I took Morgane up on that invitation, and poked my head in the door to see what the fuss was about. Could this be the birth of the Anime/Geek/Otaku con we’ve been waiting for? Very possible.
