My list of anime I’m currently watching is a lot longer than I need it to be, so there’s a fair chance I’ll be dropping a few along the way. I just haven’t figured out which yet. For the time being though, it’s keeping me fairly busy, and there’s a lot of potential for great fan-art.
So, an anime which features dark creatures who can only be defeated by stripping their clothes off – of course this will be all about the fan-service. It’s based on the game by the same name, and I was a little disappointed at first that they wouldn’t be using the characters from the game. The producers have changed some aspects of the plot as well; I’m not entirely sure why because some of the elements seem to fit together clumsily now. And the animation is also kinda lazy. Not a lot of fan-art out for this one yet, and some of it’s kinda NSFW.

Coming from the author of Kimi no Iru Machi and Suzuka, you may be forgiven if you expect a love triangle to dominate the story. As a matter of fact, the last episode pretty much set the stage for this to happen (I don’t consider this a spoiler – if you’ve read/watched any of the author’s previous work you’ll have seen this coming a mile away). At the very least I’m expecting this series to be difficult to sit through – because the author is pretty good at making it a painful experience.

It might be up against the likes of KonoSuba, but between KonoSuba’s half-assed animation this season, and the fact that it seems to be reusing a lot of last season’s gags, I think this might just be the comedy of the season. At least I’ve gotten good laughs out of it so far – KonoSuba’s second episode nearly put me to sleep. In any case – Miss Kobayashi somehow got herself a dragon for a maid – a maid with an astounding lack of day-to-day common sense, so things tend to go a bit off-kilter on a daily basis.
