We’ve just passed the halfway mark for the season, and just based on some early impressions of the line-up for April, there’s going to be something for everyone. Maybe several somethings, if I look at the sheer load of shows starting.
ēlDLIVE doesn’t really do much to distinguish itself from other shows that are airing right now, and it’s probably going to be one of those quickly forgotten shows – but for all that it is actually a fairly entertaining series to follow. Doesn’t seem to have generated too much fan-art at this point – maybe that will change.

Little Witch Academia was probably always fated to get a full series after it’s initial release all those years ago, and so far it has been a joy to watch. I was surprised that it turned into a full 2-cour series though, and I’m hoping it doesn’t lose steam over time. Studio Trigger seems to be pretty good at pacing its series though, so perhaps there’s no need to worry too much

Think Bakuon, but with bicycles instead of motorcycles – and that’s pretty much what this series is. Even the main characters share a bunch of similarities. Like eLDLIVE, not particularly noteworthy, and it gets buried by a couple of the other series airing at the moment. Again, I think this show will end up being forgotten fairly quickly. It’s okay, but not much more than that.
