Currently Airing Fan-art – 3 February 2017

Welcome to February!!

It feels like Winter is finally coming to an end – weather wise. Still plenty left of this season’s anime though – and today’s post features three of this season’s comedy series.

Gabriel Dropout

Another one of this season’s enjoyable comedies, in which Angels and Demons are sent to live on Earth for a while to complete their education. And never have you met such a bunch of devilish angels, or angelic demons.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o!

I was looking forward to a second season of this series, and while it’s still funny, a few things are starting to feel a little forced, if not old. Although this week’s episode kind of made up for the overall disappointment so far. Just a pity the animation quality went down the drain – it’s noticeably worse than the first season.

Luckily, there are plenty of artists producing fan-art worth looking at.

Urara Meirochou

I’m not going to lie – every time I watch this series I get Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka vibes from this series. The lead protagonist is a girl very much like Cocoa, with slightly less common sense, since she was raised away from civilization. I’m not complaining about this – in fact, so far the show has been quite enjoyable and pretty light-hearted. Well worth the watch, although I wonder if it will be able to maintain the pace throughout the season.
